WHY:
Small groups embody the established DNA of "Because God is for us, we can be for others." Through intentional meeting and study, small group members expand their relationship with God and their understanding of how God is for them, while also actively growing in discipleship through intentional service to others in an area that they feel a passion for call. Additionally, communities formed by small groups which already have the connections of shared passions fill the important need for authentic human connection which is becoming more and ore absent in a postmodern culture.
GOAL:
The goal of CLC's Connected Groups is to create communities that are formed through shared "passion places" for serving and loving others which are strongly connected to the weekly worship rhythm of the church at large.

- Through creation of a new small group format and system of entry which is determined through shared connection with service rather than a leader
- Through intentional small group aspects which connect to worship rhythms
- In a very large scale/ideal world concept, to have all ministry groups connected together through small group ministry as a way to intentionalize the DNA of "for us, for others" which is already at play in these groups and to intentionally tie these groups to weekly worship instead of having each group seem like an "island"
Sunday's in Exeter
Leaders Bill & Jan Zigler have opened their home to 7 couples, and have been strengthening relationships making our faith journey more rewarding over the past few years.
