ChristKids Preschool & Child Care is entering it's 20th year of service as a ministry of Christ Lutheran Church to the children in our community.  

ChristKids Preschool is focused on preparing students to enter their educational careers with a joy for learning and the social ability to communicate, share and work with their peers; the emotional stability to make choices, know we all make mistakes and begin to understand consequences; the physical confidence to try new things and know they are strong;  the academic skills like ABCs, 123s, Colors and Shapes through play and interaction and finally a spiritual connection with our Lord Jesus Christ through daily devotions, daily prayer, song and weekly chapel.
 
We are supported by our church family in many wonderful ways.  

WE GET DIRTY!!
Our promise to every family at the beginning of each year is that your child will be loved, your child will have the opportunity to learn and grow, and most of all your child will come home dirty!

ChristKids provides hands on learning.  
We teach thru seeing, touching,
smelling, tasting, moving!  
Children are given the opportunity to be artists, architects, construction workers, mommies & daddies, chefs, astronauts, dinosaurs, bats, kittens & puppies.  Their imaginations can take them anywhere and we encourage it!!
While we may not appear to be an academically focused school, you will find that all our
students graduate from ChristKids ready to tackle their next level of education.
You will be amazed at what preschool can do for your child.  Being able to listen to a story and be kind and caring to peers is just as important, if not more so, than knowing the ABC's and 123's.  
With that said, the ABC's and 123's are part of our education plan as well.  We teach through play and interaction.  
 

Morning Enrichment:
 FT is anytime from 7:00am to 6:00pm
MWF (Monday/Wednesday/Friday)
         TTh (Tuesday/Thursday)
          M-F (Monday - Friday)

•  FT students bring a lunch and eat with their classmates at 12:00pm and have a rest time from 1:00pm to 2:30pm.
• When they rise from their rest time, they get a snack and play with friends, hear stories and enjoy their time, until they are picked up!   

These programs can be used with any of our daily schedules:
         MWF (Monday/Wednesday/Friday)
         TTh (Tuesday/Thursday)
          M-F (Monday - Friday)

ChristKids is licensed for 48 children, between the ages of 2.9 and 6, on any given day.

Each of our three classrooms is staffed with a State of California-qualified Preschool Teacher.
